NHBF Author: Emilie Christie Burack

Emilie Christie Burack lives in rural New Hampshire. Her novel, The Runaway’s Gold (Abrams/Amulet), is a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard selection and was New Hampshire's featured book at the National Book Festival. Dominic Bean and the Mammoth Melt (Groundwood) releases September 1, 2026. Emilie serves on the Children’s Literacy Foundation board and is co-founder of the New Hampshire Book Festival. 

This author is scheduled to appear at the NH Book Festival which will be held at the Capitol Center for the Arts & NHBF Festival Village on South Main Street in Concord, NH on October 2-3, 2026.
