Robert Crawford recommends Snowman's Code by Midge Goldberg (The University of Evansville Press, 2016)
Snowman's Code is a breathtakingly intelligent and deeply humorous look at our everyday world. The cover art, "Freeman''s Farm" by Maxfield Parrish--a house in winter twilight at the crest of a hill--is the perfect invitation to the mystery. If you get close enough you just might be able to see inside. Come closer. Read this wonderful book of poems.
Robert Crawford is currently the Director of poetry at the Robert Frost Farm in Derry NH, and the Poet Laureate of Derry, NH. His two books of poetry are Too Much Explanation Can Ruin a Man and The Empty Chair, both available at Amazon.
This post is part of our celebration of National Poetry Month 2021 for which I asked New Hampshire poets to recommend books of poetry by Granite State poets. These titles are generally available from local booksellers and may be held in public libraries as well.
