Jabari Jumps is illustrator Gaia Cornwall’s first picture book. Named a Charlotte Zolotow Honor Book, Jabari Jumps was also featured in People MagazineThe New York Times, and was an Amazon Best Children's Book of the Year. Courage Badges:  Craft (cardboard or cardstock) a badge that has the word Courage on it. Decorate. Children can wear it when they are facing a challenging situation. 

Not Scared Poetry: Read Maya Angelou's "Life Doesn't Frighten Me" and then craft your own poem about being brave.

When I was Brave: Draw a picture of a time you were courageous.
