Crash & Burn reintroduces us to Sergeant Wyatt Foster of the North Country Sherriff’s Criminal Investigations Division. He’s been called to what looks like a routine car accident which turns out to be anything but. The driver, Nicky Frank, is a completely unreliable witness, having suffered multiple head traumas. Her child is missing, but then her husband says there are no children.
