In honor of New Hampshire Writers' Week, each day this week we will present a list of books by NH Writers. Each day will have its own theme and no writer will be included more than once or in more than one list (though many of our state's writers work in multiple genres). We invite you to tell us about your favorite works of nonfiction by NH authors by adding comments to this post.

I'd like to recommend an excellent memoir from Bedford NH author Carrie Cariello: What Color is Monday? How Autism Changed One Family for the Better.
(Note and full disclosure. I'm the original publisher; I own Riddle Brook Publishing. Carrie's book has since been picked up by Jessica Kingsley out of the UK, and is being reissued worldwide on January 15.)
