If I Built a House by Chris Van Dusen is a fabulous vision of what a house could be if you built it yourself. Each room is specially designed to provide both fun and function. My favorite is the "all-in-one Kitchen-o-mat" 

You don't have to cook and you don't have to clean,
It's done by a space-age robotic machine.
It makes all the meals and the food is deeelish,
Then it washes and puts away every last dish.

School-aged readers may prefer the Racetrack Room, the Flying Room, or the Fish Tank Room.
