Ladybug Nominee Profile

Baby Bear Counts One by Ashley Wolff tells the story of a baby bear learning about all the creatures who share his woodland home. Activities to go along with this book might include art projects about bear dens, bear activities from KidZone, making snowflakes, or learning about all the woodland creatures Baby Bear meets. Some resources for learning about animals are the Hinterland Who's Who; the University of Michigan's Museum of Zoology; and a-z animals (which also has games to play).

This is one of the ten titles nominated for the 2014 Ladybug Picture Book Award.
