And the Winner is ...

Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes written by Eric Litwin with art by James Dean, and currently published by HarperCollins, was selected by New Hampshire children, from preschoolers to third graders, as the winner of the 2012 Ladybug Picture Book Award. It received 7,612 of the 22,078 votes cast by children across the state this year at 165 voting sites.
