What's happening at your local bookstore?

Over the next few weekends there are lots of cool things happening at bookstores around the state. So come in from the cold and find something good to read!

White Birch Books in North Conway is hosting a discussionof Short History of Tractors in Ukranian TONIGHT, 2/22/07 at 7:00 PM.

Gibson's Books in Concord is having their February store-wide sale starting Friday 2/23/07. Everything in the store will be 25% off list price (except for previous special orders). And if you don't see it on their well-stocked shelves, they can usually order it for you at 25% off and have it for you in a few days. Sale hours will be Friday from 9-8, Saturday from 9-5:30, and Sunday from 11-5.

The River Run Bookstore in Portsmouth will host author Chris Bohjalian reading and discussing his new novel The Double Bind on Thursday, March 1st at 7:00pm.

Between now and March 4th the Toadstool Bookshops will host readings by Lisa Gardner, Walter Paine, P. J. O' Rourke, and China Mieville.

Main Street Book Ends of Warner has a theater workshop, an historical documentary film premier, and art exhibits going on in the next couple of weeks as well as their regular Wednesday night Storytelling Around the Fire program.
