- Robert Frost, at one time a resident of Derry, NH wrote a poem called Christmas Trees.
- How the Grinch Stole Christmas is a classic from Theodore Geisel, who became Dr. Suess while he was a student at Dartmouth.
- A Child's Christmas in Wales by Dylan Thomas is a favorite of mine (my Dad read it to us at Christmas when I was little.) You can hear it read by the author, or you might want to check out the edition illustrated by Trina Schart Hyman. Thomas has no connection to NH that I know of, but Hyman lived in Lyme, NH for many years. You can read more about her in the Spring 2005 issue of Book Notes.
Whatever you decide to read, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
