3 on a Theme: Barns

This is the first in a series of brief posts planned for the 3rd of each month. New Hampshire books (mostly older ones, but perhaps a few new ones as well) centering on a particular theme will be highlighted. I hope to remind you of titles you might have meant to read and not yet gotten to, and to draw your attention to titles that expand on ideas from books you may have already enjoyed.

Field Guide to New England Barns and Farm Buildings by Thomas Durant Visser (UPNE, 1997)

A Barn in New England: Making a Home on Three Acres by Joseph Monninger (Chronicle Books, 2001)

Tuttle's Red Barn: The Story of America's Oldest Family Farm by Richard Michelson; illustrated by Mary Azarian. (G.P. Putnam's Sons, c2007).
