NH Public Radio's
The Exchange had their annual holiday book show this morning. The guests were Dan Chartrand, owner of
Water Street Bookstore in Exeter and Michael Herrmann, owner of
Gibson's Bookstore in Concord. Several books-of-the-week were mentioned including
Innocent Victim and
Unpacking the Boxes. A few other "local" books also came up which may be books of the week in the future. Both guests mentioned
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society as a recent novel worth checking out and I second (or is it third?) the suggestion. It was a wonderful novel, though it has nothing to do with NH.
