Views & Voices: Hancock, NH. (Hancock, NH: Hancock Book Press, 2006)This volume, which came across my desk as part of the NHAIS Original Cataloging Project, contains a collection of articles and photographs of Hancock, New Hampshire written by a variety of people who live there. The goal of the project was "to preserve this moment in time, so that people many years from now can capture the feeling of what it is like today, in 2006."
The articles cover a wide range of topics: the Contoocook River; what the Women's Club does; an interview with the Postmistress; political life; working at the dump; birding; Old Home Days; and many more.
