The Vision of Emma Blau by Ursula Hegi (Simon & Schuster, 2000)
If you knew that you could experience a significant love once in your life, would you want these years at the beginning or at the end? That question is at the heart of this companion novel to Stones from the River.
Lake Winnipesaukee provides the setting for parts of this novel which was recommended to me by Trisha Lindner, a co-worker here at the NH State Library.
